Hello Parishoners,
Lent is upon us- St. Augustine consoles us: “Let us never assume that if we live good lives we will be without sin; our lives should be praised only when we continue to beg for pardon.” Father Peter John Cameron explains, “In other words, the biggest problem is how we respond to sin. No matter how dark the blackness of the blackmail of sin gets this Lent, let’s use all our energy to turn our whole being to the light…there’s only one window in the tomb” [Magnificat, Lent 2007].

+ March 1-4, Religious Education Congress @ The Anaheim Convention Center [entitled, “Stand in the Light”].
+ March 2nd to March 30th, Soup Kitchen [6 p.m.] and Station’s of the Cross [7 p.m., bi-lingual].
+ March 5th to March 26th, The Catholic Discussion, Monday’s from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Hall.
+ March 11th, Daylight Savings Time Begins.
+ March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day.
+ March 22nd, Penance Service @ 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
+ April 1st, Palm Sunday and begins Holy Week.
+ April 5th to April 7th, The Triduum
+ April 8th, The Resurrection- Easter
