Baptism
Baptism is the sacrament received before all others. It is the sacrament by which we become members of the Church, the Body of Christ, and share in Christ’s priesthood.Baptism is received only once, its indelible mark of the Holy Spirit inviting us to share in the grace, the divine life, and the mission of the ChurchBaptismal Preparation (for infants)
Parents desiring to baptize a child are encouraged to make arrangements as soon as the child is born.Parents and sponsors or Godparents are required to attend a
pre-baptismal class to explain the sacrament of Baptism and the important role parents and godparents play in this sacrament and in the child’s spiritual life.
Baptisms are scheduled on the second Sunday of each month in Spanish and on the third Sunday of the month in English, at 2:00pm, by appointment only.

Please note that no Baptisms will be held during the season of Lent, between Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.Please contact the Parish Office to check for availability or to make arrangements.

If you want to learn more about the Catholic Church, prepare for initiation into the Catholic Church through Baptism, or receive First Communion as an adult, RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process to initiate.
