Finance Council

The Christ the King Finance Council is an organization that, pursuant to Canon Law, advises the pastor in overseeing and controlling the financial affairs of the parish, including the school.

While the pastor is ultimately responsible for all financial decisions, he consults with and seeks the advice and recommendations of the Finance Council regarding the development of annual operating budgets and capital expenditures for the parish and school.  The Council also assists the pastor in developing a long-range program for funding, identifying funding sources and implementing any long-term capital improvement campaigns.

Membership & Meetings:
The membership consists of three to nine members, all who are appointed by the pastor.  The membership term is three years, with one-third of the members being replaced each year to ensure continuity.  It meets at least six times a year.

2009-2010 Chair: Bill Ahamanson
