Father Antonio thanks all participating parishioners for their generous contributions to the Respect Life Baby Shower.  Our contributions will be delivered to the Los Angeles Pregnancy Center (LAPS) this week.  In the last year, this organization saved 104 babies and their mothers.  Your contributions will help LAPS continue their work.

Please consider our belief that life begins at conception and ends in natural death.  LAPS is an organization working on the front lines to respect life; however, they need our support and help all year round – not just during Respect Life Month.  They will continue to need all our prayers and support to raise the money needed to buy an ultrasound machine.  Remember them during this month and every month.

There are many volunteer opportunities at LAPS: in their centers, there are openings for a Peer Counselor, Parenting Class Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Sonogram Operator, and Abortion Recovery Counselor.  In their Administrative Offices, there are openings for:  General Volunteer, Special Projects, and Church Liaison.
