The Chalice of Vocations Program brings families and the community together for prayer for vocations. The chalice serves as a reminder to all of us to pray daily for vocations. With the help of the Pastor and the Parish Vocation Committee, the Chalice Program is an instrument to build awareness of and support for an increase in vocations.

This chalice was a gift to Fr. Antonio Cacciapuoti from a family who was visiting Rome, during the Jubilee Year 2000. We all have a responsibility to pray for Holy Priests who help people to get to heaven. The Jubilee Year 2000, Pope John Paul Il called on the whole church to celebrate the love Jesus has for us and called us to do this by growing in unity with each other. Bless your Church by
raising up dedicated and generous leaders from our families and friends who will serve
your people as Sisters, Priests, Brothers, Deacons, and Lay Ministers.

Inspire us as we
grow to know you and open our hearts to hear your call.

We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Padre, tú llamas a cada uno de nosotros por nombre y nos pides que te sigamos. Bendice tu
iglesia, y de entre nuestras familias y amigos, danos dedicados y generosos líderes quienes
puedan servir a tu pueblo como religiosas, sacerdotes, diáconos y ministros laicos.
Inspíranos mientras crecemos en tu amor y abre nuestros corazones para oir tu llamado.
